In 2012 number of school leavers of the 11th grade will make 21 773

RT Vice minister of education and science, Head of department on supervision and control in the sphere of education of RT Ministry of education and science Lyudmila Nugumanova told about features of holding Unified State Exam in 2012 at a briefing in the House of RT Government.
The briefing was held in a format of video conference with all municipal regions of the Republic of Tatarstan. All Internet users could take part in the briefing (by the link “view briefing” on the official portal of RT Government - www.prav.tatar.ru).
To the point, a federal law about amendments regarding the rules of admission to higher educational institutions came into force on February, 1, 2012. In accordance with amendments winners of Olympiads and other beneficiaries which have the right to enter a university without competition can use this privilege upon submitting documents to one educational institution and one speciality only. At the same time beneficiaries can submit documents to five institutions, but they will pass a contest according to the standard procedure.
Lyudmila Nugumanova informed that in 2012 the number of school leavers of the 11th grade would make 21 773. She also told representatives of mass media about work of public observers in the period of holding Unified State Exam.
During the video conference RT vice minister of education and science also answered the questions of representatives of republican municipal regions.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
