Rustam Minnikhanov and Vitaly Mutko take part in All-Russia student forum of volunteers “We are ready!”

“10 years ago no one could imagine that Kazan would host Universiade, such a big international sports event,” President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at All-Russia student forum of volunteers “We are ready!”
The forum was held in “Tatneft-Arena” (Kazan) and was dated to an important event – 500 days are left till the start of XXVII World summer Universiade-2013 in Kazan.
About nine thousand young people from Russian regions took part in the forum. Among them were leaders of youth public and volunteer organizations, student self-government, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions.
Welcoming guests and participants of the forum Rustam Minnikhanov informed about held regular meeting of the steering committee on preparation for Universiade-2013 chaired by first vice Chairman of Russian government Igor Shuvalov.
RT President reminded as well about the World championship on water sports (2015) and matches within the World football championship (2018) expected to be held after Universiade-2013.
Head of the republic noted that Tatarstan’s initiative to hold World summer student sport games -2013 was approved and supported by the federal center and Vladimir Putin. Chairman of RF Government also supported plans host the World championship on water sports and matches within the World football championship.
“We believe in you and will support you!”, Rustam Minnikhanov said addressing volunteers.
Russian minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Vitaly Mutko congratulated all the volunteers on their decision to support such a serious project for the country – Universiade 2013.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
