Mintimer Shaimiev: “It is the moment of truth”

First President of Tatarstan, RT State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev came with his wife Sakina Shakirovna to a polling station №57 located in the building of the Kazan national research technological university (Kazan, Karl Marx Str).
Speaking to journalists RT State Counselor marked that elections of the state’s head differ from elections for RF State Duma since greater responsibility is imposed on voters now.
The State Counselor believes that though people vote in accordance with their political commitments, they have to realize the extent of responsibility now.
“It is the moment of truth. I think our multi-ethnic people will make an important and right choice,” Mintimer Shaimiev said.

On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.

On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
