Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Chairman of JSC GAS Board Ziegfried Wolf

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with Chairman of JSC GAS Board Ziegfried Wolf in the RT Government House.
Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed Ziegfried Wolf and JSC GAS officials. He reminded of their meeting in Tolyatti at the All-Russia conference dedicated to development of the automobile industry in conditions of Russia’s entering WTO (April 4, 2012) held by Chairman of RF Government Vladimir Putin.
Problems of the automobile industry are urgent today in all countries engaged in this sphere, Rustam Minnikhanov marked. Being one of the federation subjects Tatarstan is characteristic of developed automobile industry (JSC KAMAZ, Sollers).
Rustam Minnikhanov considers many issues discussed in Tolyatti crucial for the Russian automobile industry.
RT President and Chairman of JSC GAS Board discussed possible cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan.
Ziegfried Wolf told about prospects of JSC GAS and emphasized potential spheres of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for displayed interest towards republic and issues of further development of the automobile sector.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
