Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Director general of European business and innovation center network

The Republic of Tatarstan is interested in cooperation with European business and innovation center network (EBN), RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a meeting with EBN Director general Philippe Vanrie.
Aide to RT President Anatoly Krasnov, Director of Technopark Idea Sergey Yushko, Director of Investment venture fund Ainur Aideldinov took part in the event.
Director of Technopark Idea Sergey Yushko told about current cooperation of Tatarstan with EBN noting that “Idea” is the first and the only member of EBN among Russian technoparks.
A working group led by Philippe Vanrie arrived in Kazan in order to acquaint with work of technopark and take part in the Kazan venture fair. During one of round-table meetings EBN officials and Tatarstan specialists will discuss interaction of big and small business in the sphere of innovations and creation of jobs at innovation enterprises.
Philippe Vanrie said he and his colleagues were impressed by what they had seen in Tatarstan and what he had heard during the session of chairmen of committees of the Association of innovative regions of Russia.
Philippe Vanrie informed that EBN is engaged in accreditation of innovation and business centers in Europe presenting a single system of assessment and classification. The network comprises 200 accredited innovation centers in Europe.
III Russian-Europe forum of innovative forum that will be held in June in Finnish city Lappenranta within the limits of the 21st annual EBN congress is meant to establish closer interaction among European and Russian innovation centers. Philippe Vanrie considers this event a god opportunity for Tatarstan to consolidate relationships with leading European companies.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
