Rustam Minnikhanov lays flowers to monument of Gabdulla Tukay

On the 126th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukay’s birthday President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has laid flowers to the monument of the great Tatar writer in Kazan.
Akim of Aktyubinsk oblast of the Kazakhstan Republic Archimed Mukhambetov being on a working trip in Tatarstan, members of the RT Government, chiefs of ministries and agencies of RT, deputies of the State Council, culture and art figures of Tatarstan also honored the memory of Tukay.
The holiday of poetry will traditionally take place near the Opera and Ballet Theatre in the context of celebrations dated to Gabdulla Tukay’s birthday. In addition, a wide range of events dedicated to the poet’s birthday are held in republic.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
