Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of Tatneftehiminvest-holding Board

A regular session of Tatneftehiminvest-holding Board chaired by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov was held in the RT Government House.
Director general of the holding Rafinat Yarullin told about outcomes of activity of oil-gas-chemical enterprises of RT for the first quarter 2012. Outcomes were assessed as positive. By and large, production has increased by 8 % including oil processing - 31,5 %, chemistry and petrochemistry – 4 %. The sum of shipped products made 212 bln roubles (by 18 % more than last year).
According to Rafinat Yarullin, good dynamics is determined by the beginning of financial and economic activity of TANECO and favorable pricing environment.
8 mln 94 thousand tons of oil have been produced for three months in republic. JSC Tatneft produced 6 mln 454 thousand tons. 3,7 mln tons of oil have been processed in Tatarstan, including TAIF-NK (2 mln tons) and TANECO (1,4 mln tons).
Rafinat Yarullin marked that in conditions of Russia’s entering WTO Tatarstan companies will have to pass through check-up for competitiveness of their produce. By the way, competitors reinforce their positions. To the point, China is going to extend petrochemical sector for 13 % annually and considers Russia one of the most attractive sales market.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that development of petrochemistry and oil-processing are priority task for Tatarstan.
RT President focused on several major projects launched in republic, - TANECO, TAIF-NK, and ethylene complex for 1 mln tons expected to be launched at Nizhnekamskneftehim this year.
Moreover, three perspective projects in the sphere of resource saving were considered at the session.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
