Ildar Khalikov takes part in tree-planting action organized by Executive office “Kazan 2013” and society of the disabled “Kovcheg”

Tatarstan PM Ildar Khalikov took part in a tree-planting action organized by Executive office “Kazan 2013” and society of the disabled “Kovcheg”. Pupils of correctional and boarding schools were involved in the event.

The action is dated to International Day of People with Disability and forthcoming Victory day.

Pupils of special correctional comprehensive boarding school № 4 for children with musculoskeletal system disorders, boarding school № 1 for children with mental disorders, Kazan boarding school № 6 named after Lastochkina for hearing-impaired children, special correctional comprehensive boarding school № 7 for children with hard dysphasia, special correctional comprehensive boarding school № 11 of VIII type for handicapped children and youth, state special educational institution for children and youth with deviant behavior “Republican special comprehensive school” took part in tree-planting.

By and large, 220 children took part in the action. Volunteers – students of partner higher educational institutions of Universiade 2013 helped them. Some hundreds of trees were planted on the territories of several educational institutions and sports objects of Universiade 2013.

The action finished at the Kazan Central park of culture and recreation. The concert program was organized by volunteers of the Kazan National Research Technological University for all children participating in tree-planting.

RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov marked that today’s event is held on the threshold of the most important holiday – Victory Day. It is great that the younger generation of our country remember this day, he said. He thanked everyone for participation in improvement of the territory of Universiade sports objects.
