Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai and FISU President

A meeting of the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Leo Kuznetsov and FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien was held in Kazan at the RT Government House today.
Deputy RF minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Natalia Parshikova, President of the Russian sports student union Oleg Matytsin, first Vice-premier of Tatarstan Ravil Muratov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin attended the meeting.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Claude-Louis Gallien and members of the FISU Executive committee for support rendered to Tatarstan. “We hope you will continue contributing greatly to development of student sport in our republic and in Russia,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Leo Kuznetsov presented opportunities of Krasnoyarsk as the potential capital of World winter Universiade 2019 to FISU President and other members of the Executive committee.
The capital of winter Universiade 2019 will be announced in 2013. The bidding campaign will officially start in November.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
