President of Tatarstan takes part in World economic forum in Istanbul

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in World economic forum on Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia in Istanbul. The itinerary of RT President includes several events.
The Istanbul forum is organized by the World economic forum. The meeting in Istanbul is in fact a visiting event of Davos forum.
More than 1 thousand business top managers, government officials, scientists and representatives of the civil society from about 70 countries have gathered in Turkey. The event is held under the auspices of the Turkish Government.
Within the framework of the forum President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in a plenary session to be opened by the Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the World economic forum Klaus Schwab. A personal meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with Klaus Schwab is also planned. Moreover, the Tatarstan President will attend one of the sections dedicated to Russia.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
