On July 12, Tatarstan Government together with the Higher School of Urban Studies of the National Research University Higher School of Economics and Shukhov Lab announced the second grant contest for students from Tatarstan to study the international master programme of the National Research University Higher School of Economics "The City and Technology: Prototyping Future Cities". The academic leader of the programme is ex-chief architect of Barcelona, head of the Shukhov Lab Vicente Guallart.
According to the results of the selection, five finalists of the contest will be recommended for the enrolment. The grant of up to 950,000 roubles will cover the cost of training for two years and accommodation in the campus of HSE. During their studies, Tatarstan students will do the research and develop projects, which will further provide the basis of practical recommendations for the solution of the pressing urban issues of Tatarstan.
The professional jury, including Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman - Bekmambetova and ex-chief architect of Barcelona, head of the Shukhov Lab and academic leader of master programme of the National Research University Higher School of Economics “The City and Technology: Prototyping Future Cities” Vicente Guallart will select the candidates for enrolment.
The applications for the contest will be accepted from July, 10 to August, 10.
