Vladimir Putin arrives to Kazan

Today, The President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is on working trip to Tatarstan. The President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was welcomed at the international airport "Kazan" by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District (VFD) Mikhail Babich, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
In the framework of the working visit of the President of Russian Federation is a visit to Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Reserve. Here he will present the state awards to relatives of the chief of the Training Division of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Tatarstan Waliullah Yakupov, who was killed on July 19, 2012 in Kazan, and to the Chairman of Religious Board of Muslims of Tatarstan Mufti Ildus Fayzov - the victim of car undermine.
In addition, Vladimir Putin plans to visit island-town Sviyazhsk. This unique city-fortress for centuries has been the all-Russian Orthodox shrine, which attracts many people all over the country.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
