Rustam Minnikhanov attended the opening of the Medical Centre in Universiade Village

Today The Medical Center of the Universiade Village was officially opened in Kazan. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport Natalia Parshikova Minister of Health care Ayrat Farrakhov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, rector of Kazan (Volga) Federal University Ilshat Gafurov and other officials. Medical Center also includes the Student Health Centre.
Student health center will serve 27 higher education institution with a total number of 70 thousand people. Medical Center's professional staff - 197 people. According to Airat Farrahov, today it is the only student health center, which is preserved in Russia, in other regions students served at the place of registration in the district hospitals.
Medical Center has all the main research methods, including endoscopy room, fit up with modern equipment. Fluorography office has digital devices that allow to store and transmit images, if necessary, carry out remote consultations with leading medical centers. Each therapy room is equipped with electrocardiogram machines, electronic scales, devices for pressure changes. There are two rooms of ultrasonic examination, X-ray room, surgical and trauma rooms, and a friendly clinics for youth, where professional psychologists working with patients.
The conditions, created at the Medical Center, allow to conduct accurate diagnosis, timely quality treatment with maximum comfort for patient. There is a day hospital, physiotherapy department, unit of doping control, infectious office.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
