As many as 22 kindergartens commissioned under Demography national project in Tatarstan

On September 14, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Regional Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that the implementation of capital repair programme is continuing and as of September 12, the work has been completed with the total funding amounting to 5 billion 107 million 729.55 thousand roubles, which makes 87,27 per cent of the plan.

He also said that 942 multi-apartment houses with the total area of 5.6 million square metres in 42 municipal regions of the republic are planned to be overhauled in Tatarstan in 2019.

Under Demography in 2018-2019 national project, the republic plans to build 30 kindergartens establishing 6,130 places, including 3,110 nurseries. As many as 22 of 30 planned facilities have been commissioned and the work at 8 facilities is underway.

As many as 29 general education institutions have been fully overhauled.

The capital repair of 85 pre-schools institutions of 112 planned has been completed.

The capital repair of 8 recourse centres (colleges) has been completed.

The Minister also reported on the construction of universal sports grounds and block modular ski bases. As of September 13, the construction of 103 of 105 planned sports grounds in 45 regions of the republic has been completed.

The construction of 6 of 8 planned block modular ski bases has been completed.

Faizullin continued that as of September 12, three children’s recreation camps have been overhauled and the work at 9 of 12 planned facilities is under way. The capital repair of youth clubs and strengthening of their material resources is completed.

The Minister informed about the construction of medical and obstetric centres, outpatient centres, rural clubs and capital repair of building of Executives Committees (Councils) of municipalities, social services institutions and municipal archives.

Faizullin reported on preparations for the heating season in the republic. He said that 16855 multi-apartment houses or 98 per cent have readiness passports.
