On September 24, at the Government House of the republic, speaking at a briefing, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Roman Shaykhutdinov said that the winners of the All-Russian contest “Digital Breakthrough”, one of the leading projects of Russia - the Country of Opportunities non-profit organization in Kazan, will receive up to 500,000 roubles funding for their projects and the opportunity to become a partner of a large industrial enterprise.
Winners will also be supported by the Innovation Promotion Fund or take part in educational programmes. “According to the results of the contest, each participant who takes the appropriate place can get the opportunity to receive additional education,” Shaykhutdinov said.
As many as 100 teams, namely 500 children from cities and regions of Tatarstan will take part in the school nomination.
The tasks of this nomination will be aimed at testing the knowledge of the school informatics.
On September 27-29, the Digital Breakthrough contest will be held in the format of a hackathon at Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.
During 48 hours, over 3,000 specialists in programming, design and management will jointly seek a solution to the problem. Participants will compete in five categories: “Education and Science”, “Health Care”, “Public Administration”, “Housing and Public Utilities and Urban Environment”, “Transport and Logistics” and in special nominations from partners of the contest. Over 120 people will be in the jury.
