On September 25, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mikhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, members of the Government House of the republic and invited guests took part in the third meeting of Tatarstan State Council of the sixth convocation.
Secretary of the State Council of the republic Liliya Mavrina and Chairmen of the relevant parliamentary committees Leonid Yakunin, Albert Khabibullin and Shakir Yagudin made a proposal to include 22 issues in the agenda. As a result of the discussion, the agenda of the third meeting expanded to 30 issues.
The meeting considered the appointment of Marat Zyabbarov as Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food. Tatarstan Prime Minister introduced the candidacy of Zyabbarov.
During the voting, people’s deputies unanimously supported this appointment.
Members of the regional parliament also unanimously supported the proposal of Minnikhanov to transform Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications to the Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. During the meeting, Pesoshin said that the further development of the economy and the social sphere depends on the efficiency of the state and municipal government system, which needs changes at the current stage.
Tatarstan Prime Minister noted that the efficient implementation of Strategy-2030 needs the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions in the real sector of the economy, in the areas of public administration and the delivery of public and municipal services.
Pesoshin emphasized that the transformation of the ministry will contribute to the efficient implementation of Digital Economy national project and the successful solution of the tasks of digital transformation and building an efficient system of public and municipal government in Tatarstan.
People’s deputies voted to establish a new state award - Medal of 100 year anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
The medal is supposed to be awarded to the citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of the statehood of Tatarstan, strengthening its socio-economic potential, interethnic and interfaith harmony, preserving and enhancing the cultural and spiritual heritage, who have merits in professional and social activities that contribute to increasing the authority of the republic. The awarded citizens will have the social support measures upon retirement.
