Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Chief of Cosmonauts' Training Centre

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Chief of Cosmonauts' Training Centre named after Yu.A. Gagarin, Hero of Russia, Hero of the Soviet Union Sergei Krikalev.
Aide to the Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin, Minister of education and science Engel Fattakhov, Acting rector of the Kazan National Research Technical University Albert Gilmutdinov were present at the meeting.
Sergei Krikalev told about activity of Cosmonauts' Training Centre and training of flight aviation groups. The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation of Tatarstan higher educational institutions with the Training Center.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
