On December 10, in Kazan, First Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the solemn commissioning of the third shared-equity long-delayed multi-apartment house.
The construction of the house was started by Fon Building Company in 2014, however, due to financial difficulties the company encountered, the construction was suspended in 2015. A new developer, AkTash-Invest, was involved to finish the work last year.
“This is the fifth house built for defrauded housing equity holders in the republic and the third one in Kazan. We hope to commission five more houses that are being built for defrauded equity holders by the end of the year in Tatarstan,” Nigmatullin said.
He added that in three years, the executive committee of the city and the Ministry of Construction of the republic have managed to commission 18 long-delayed houses in the republic, 16 of which are located in Kazan.
