On December 19, online broadcast of the solemn event dedicated to the start of the Year of 100 anniversary of the establishment of TASSR will be organized on Tatarstan Official Portal at the following link: http://tatarstan.ru/press/broadcast.htm
The solemn opening of the Year of the 100th anniversary of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic will take place at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Centre.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and other officials will take part in the event.
A ceremony of awarding people who have made a significant contribution to the development of the republic will also take place. The event starts at 16.00.

On 26 November, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Transport and Road Economy Farit Khanifov informed that in the current year 83bn rubles will be allocated on road work in the republic, including 9bn from the federal budget and 1.5bn from the municipal road fund. The remaining money will be allocated from the regional budget, the regional Minister said.
