Sale of ticket packages for Universiade 2013 started

The ticket program of XXVII World summer Universiade was discussed at a briefing at the RT Cabinet on November 13.

Deputy Director General of Executive Office “Kazan 2013” Igor Sivov and Director on projects of the official ticket operator of the summer Universiade 2013 – KASSIR.RU Mariya Timofeeva answered journalists’ questions.

1260000 tickets for ceremonies and competitions are to be sold worldwide. For the moment it is the most ambitious ticket sale project in present-day Russia.

Igor Sivov announced tickets prices. He informed that ticket prices for the opening ceremony vary from 750 to 6000 roubles, for the competitions – from 30 to 300 roubles. By the way, 4 000 tickets for the sum of 5 mln roubles have been sold since July 6.

Mariya Timofeeva told about ticket booking and purchasing system. Anyone may buy tickets online on the website kazan2013.ru.

Moreover, sale of special ticket packages will be started soon. The purpose of ticket packages is to offer tickets based on personal preferences and life circumstances of the audience.

Ticket packages are meant for the wide public, major government and commercial organisations.

Besides, there are absolutely new packages – “Universiade is beside you” and “I ♥ Sport”. The package “Universiade is beside you” implies selling tickets for venues located close to each other. The ticket prices vary from 2043 to 4995 roubles.

“I ♥ Sport” package offers tickets for closely related sports. For example, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, aquatics, rowing and canoeing, martial arts. The ticket prices vary from 1566 to 5814 roubles.

With “My team” packages foreign guests will be able to visit events with participation of teams from their countries.

“All ceremonies” package enables visiting opening and closing ceremonies of Universiade. The price depends on a ticket category: A category – 3400 roubles, B category – 3000 roubles.

For the moment, requests for purchasing tickets have been received from Tatarstan enterprises and federal companies. A lot of requests are being received from Russian higher educational institutions, higher educational institutions of participant countries, sports federations and clubs from all over the world.
