Aleksey Pesoshin meets representatives of Chinese Company MinFound Medical Systems

On January 20, at the Korston Entertainment Complex, during a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin met Deputy Director of MinFound Medical Systems Peter Zhang.

The parties discussed issues of the establishment of the production of high-tech medical equipment, namely magnetic resonance imaging scanner and apparatus for computed tomography.

Established in 2011 and headquartered in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province , the MinFound specializes in manufacturing the equipment for X-ray computer and positron emission tomography.

The production areas are located in five factories in China, the R&D centre in the USA. The company supplies medical equipment to Romania, Vietnam, the Philippines, a number of African countries, and in the near future intends to enter the markets of Russia and Brazil.

According to Pesoshin, today, cooperation with Chinese business is a priority for the republic. We are interested in developing relations with Chinese partners. Tatarstan has successful experience with Chinese companies, including the Haier Company, he said.

Tatarstan Prime Minister also emphasized that the region attaches great importance to working with investors.

Representatives of the company briefed about the medical equipment manufactured, its characteristics and the demand in the medical services market. It is supposed that the production facilities will be located at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Centre.
