Mintimer Shaimiev meets with mothers of participants of the project “Reconstruction of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk”

A solemn reception dated to Mother’s Day was held at the Kazan Kremlin today. The State Counselor, Chairman of Guardian Council of the Republican foundation for historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiev honoured mothers of participants of the project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: old city of Bolgar and the island town of Sviyazhsk”.
Mothers of investors and chiefs of organisations involved in restoration of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk were present at the event.
Mintimer Shaimiev congratulated guests on Mother’s Day and told about the project, shared his ideas regarding the historical and moral value of such nationwide mission.
Mintimer Shaimiev thanked guests for bringing up such wonderful children.
Further, every guest was introduced to Mintimer Shaimiev and the audience. He presented letters of gratitude of “Renaissance” Foundation containing the following words: a considerable contribution and interest of your children in the project “Cultural heritage of Tatarstan: old city of Bolgar and the island town of Sviyazhsk” is an excellent example of nobleness and morality.
Mothers also thanked Mintimer Shaimiev for reconstructing these two holy places cherished by Tatarstan citizens and support of noble initiatives of their children.
Finally, Aide to the Tatarstan President on social issues, CEO of “Renaissance” Foundation Tatyana Larionova handed presents to mothers.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
