The output of nanotechnological products in Tatarstan made up 25 bln roubles for nine months of 2012, of which 26 % is the share of small and medium-size enterprises. Such information was presented by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting dedicated to cooperation of the Republic of Tatarstan, OAO “ROSNANO” and Fund of infrastructural and educational programs.

Officials of OAO “ROSNANO” and Anatoly Chubais arrived in Kazan to participate in IV International Kazan innovative nanotechnology forum «NANOTECH2012» (November 27-29).
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that due to cooperation with OAO “ROSNANO” the efficient potential of nanotechnological industry was built up in republic. He informed that 100 organisations and enterprises participated in production of nanotechnological products in Tatarstan.
For nine months of 2012 the output of nanotechnological products in Tatarstan made up 25 bln roubles.
The Tatarstan President informed that involvement of chemical and petrochemical industries in production of nanotechnological products was important for Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov supposes that, the priority task in this respect is training of skilled personnel.
He also mentioned that 408 people entered the republican universities to get education in the field of nanotechnologies and nanoindustry.
Board Chairman of OAO “ROSNANO” Anatoly Chubais said that the Republic of Tatarstan was one of the leading regions in terms of nanotechnological development and use of best practices of nanoindustry and innovations.
As for nanoprojects in chemical and petrochemical sectors, a special group of specialists should be set up for such far-reaching and important sphere.
Anatoly Chubais positively estimated the Decree of the RT Cabinet (№ 587 dated as of 09.07.2012) “On measures for stimulating the demand for innovative and nanotechnological produce in the Republic of Tatarstan.”
Tatarstan’s Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov made a brief report on development of nanoindustry in republic.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
