On March 10, speaking at a briefing at the Government House of the republic, Minister of Education and Science of the republic Rafis Burganov said that minimum changes have been made to testing materials of the unified national exam this year.
“Some of assessment criteria are updated for a number of subjects only. There are no changes in mathematics, biology, chemistry, computer science and ICT, foreign languages,” Burganov said.
He noted that tests will be printed in the classroom and answer sheets will be scanned at the exam site as in previous years.
From March 20 to April 13, two exam sites will be available in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny to take the exam earlier than scheduled.
The main period to take the exam is scheduled from May 25 to June 29. During this period, there will be 83 exam sites in all municipalities of Tatarstan with 1,406 audiences featuring online video surveillance.
“On May 25, on the first examination day, the exam in geography and literature is traditionally held. This year, the exam in computer science and ICT is added to them. The mandatory exam in Russian and in mathematics will be held on May 28 and on June 1 accordingly,” Burganov informed.
