Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting on increasing labour productivity at engineering and petrochemical enterprises

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a video conference meeting dedicated to the project of a long-term targeted program aimed at increase in labour productivity at Tatarstan engineering and petrochemical enterprises in 2013-2016.
The video conference was organized between Moscow, Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting from Moscow (Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow).
Sberbank of Russia was Tatarstan’s partner in development of the program project.
To the point, the opportunity of developing a project of the program on increasing labour productivity in Tatarstan was discussed at the meeting between Board Chairman of Sberbank of Russia German Gref and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the international investment forum in Sochi (September, 2011). The decision was made to increase labour productivity at Tatarstan engineering and petrochemical enterprises.
Labour productivity is a key factor of competitiveness of the republican economy and stable economic growth. 750 thousand high-capacity workplaces are to be provided in republic by 2020 due to construction and modernization of production facilities.
A working group consisted of representatives of core ministries and agencies, OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”, Association of RT enterprises and entrepreneurs was established to coordinate activity on the program development.
ZAO “Strategy Partners Group” is a principal developer of the program.
Experts conducted express diagnostics to assess efficiency and profound examination of competitiveness. According to results of the assessment, certain measures on increasing labour productivity have been offered to chiefs of the enterprises.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
