Project of information educational system for distance learning of the Tatar language “Ana tele” was presented to President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
The project of online school for learning the Tatar language “Ana tele” is being developed by professional teachers and philologists and specialists of EF Education First.
Rustam Minnikhanov informed that 7 mln Tatars now live in the world. According to the last population census, 5,5 mln live in Russia and 2,2 mln in Tatarstan. The Tatar language is popular in CIS countries and abroad as the language of communication. Distance learning will help a lot of compatriots to study their native language.
Tatarstan’s Minister of education and science Engel Fattakhov reported on work fulfilled under the project.
Director General of EF Corporate Language Learning Solutions Eduard Baldakov told about results of joint project work.
Tatarstan’s PM Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova participated in the meeting.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
