Rustam Minnikhanov invites businessmen of the Kingdom of Thailand to visit Tatarstan

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented Tatarstan’s industrial and investment potential during the working visit of the Russian delegation to the Kingdom of Thailand.
The presentation was held at a meeting between the Russian Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov and Thailand Minister of industry Mr. Prasert Boonchaisuk. Rustam Minnikhanov told about Tatarstan’s social and economic development. He noted that the largest automotive plant OJSC “KAMAZ” and new automotive plant “Ford-Sollers” were located in Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov also informed that synthetic rubber and 40 % of Russian polymers were produced in Tatarstan. Moreover, two special economic zones are situated in republic, notably SEZ Alabuga and special economic zone of industrial and innovative type “Innopolis”.
President of Tatarstan invited businessmen of the Kingdom of Thailand to visit Tatarstan. It is expected that businessmen dealing with production of automotive components and petrochemical industry will come to Tatarstan.
Finally, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the given opportunity to present Tatarstan’s economic and investment potential.
In the afternoon President of Tatarstan participated in the meeting of co-chairmen of the Mixed Russia-Thailand Commission for bilateral cooperation of the Vice-premier and Minister of foreign affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Surapong Tovichakchaikul and Russian Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
