On May 29, at the Government House of the republic, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov held a regular meeting of a government committee for the road safety via videoconference.
Speaking at the meeting, Gafarov noted that the coronavirus pandemic has undoubtedly affected the traffic. “Compared with the same period last year, there were much less cars on the roads in the last two months. “The level of road safety depends on the effectiveness of our work, the work of the chairmen of committees at sites. It is all in our hands. I am sure we will improve this situation. We have our own forecast indicators, a vision for the situation and decisions made, which we must complete. This will give a positive result and will save the lives and health of our citizens,” Gafarov said.
