Rustam Minnikhanov visits Sollers plant in Vladivostok

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has visited Sollers plant during his working trip in Vladivostok. He participated in launching of joint production of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado cars. First Vice-premier of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov and Governor of Primorski Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky participated in the event.
A joint enterprise Sollers-Bussan was founded on parity basis by Sollers and Mitsui&Co. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will be produced at the enterprise. The production line is located in new department of Sollers plant in Vladivostok.
Honourable guests looked around the production line.
First Vice-premier of the Russian Government Igor Shuvalov reminded that production of Mazda cars had been launched at the enterprise. He expressed hope that the company would manage to achieve high planned figures. “Tatarstan, Kaluga and St. Petersburg already have developed automotive cluster. Vladivostok is also becoming one of centers of the Russian automotive industry,” Igor Shuvalov stressed.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said in his turn that Sollers company had acquired good reputation in Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov also visited SsangYong and Mazda assembly department and spoke to workers from Tatarstan.
On 12 January, congratulating employees of the prosecutor’s office with their professional holiday - Day of the employee of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation- Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin wrote in his address:
“For more than three centuries the prosecutor's office has been the guardian of state and public security as well as constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens of our country.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
