Ildar Khalikov meets with members of Korean delegation

Tatarstan’s PM Ildar Khalikov has met with members of Korean delegation. To the point, representatives of Korean Republic are staying in Kazan on January 29-30 within the framework of their visit to Russian Federation (Moscow) to exchange experience in the sphere of treasury information systems and their integration with external information systems.
The Korean delegation consists of Director of the Department for fiscal information systems of the Korean Ministry of strategy and finance Hyang Vu Zheng, Aide to Director Sung He Kim, coordinator in the sphere of international relations of the Ministry of strategy and finance Ji Yen Kim.
On the part of federal treasury guests were accompanied by Chief of Administrative Department of the Federal Treasury Andrei Gurovich, Chief of the RT Department of Federal Treasury Rustam Nuriakhmetov.
Welcoming guests, Ildar Khalikov said that the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Korea were establishing more and more business contacts. He noted as well that 1300 companies with foreign capital were working in republic, such as “Yokogawa Electric”, “Bosch”, “Schneider Electric”, “Rockwool”.
As for cooperation with the Republic of Korea, it is realized in the sphere of petrochemistry (KPChemical), and engineering (DaeWonKangUp). Great work is being implemented with Samsung company. Memorandum of mutual understanding in the sphere of science and innovative development was signed between Samsung and Kazan Federal University in June 2012. Moreover, an interactive educational class was opened with participation of SamsungElectronics President in Russia and CIS Jun Sang Ho in December 2012.
Besides, under the partnership agreement on providing transport services during XXVII World summer Universiade Korean Hyundai Motor Company will deliver cars, buses and minibuses.
“Cooperation with Korean specialists in the sphere of treasury information systems is interesting for Tatarstan,” Ildar Khalikov said.
Employees of the Korean Ministry of strategy and finance told about experience of creating national Korean financial and information system for controlling budget funds flow. dBrain (DigitalBrain) is the system which unites software, databases, computer equipment and call center. One of main tasks is providing transparency of budget funds flow.
The Republic of Korea is interested in promotion of this know-how at the international level. Currently the Korean Government carries out negotiations with Russian, Turkish, and Malaysian governments.
Ildar Khalikov said that specialists would find it useful to study activity of treasury bodies at federal and regional levels for further development of treasury information systems and exchanging experience at the international level.
In the afternoon Korean specialists will visit the RT Department of the Federal Treasury, sports objects constructed within the framework of preparation for summer Universiade 2013, and get familiar with Kazan cultural and historical heritage.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
