Ildar Khalikov: Employees of the RT Department of Federal Penal Service are able to tackle tasks they face

Tatarstan’s PM Ildar Khalikov participated in final session of the RT Department of Federal Penal Service. Tatarstan’s Minister of the interior Artem Khokhorin, Deputy Chairman of the RT State Council Aleksandr Gusev participated in the event.
Chief of the RT Department of Federal Penal Service Daufit Khamadishin said that the number of special squads has decreased in the previous year. Safe isolation of special squads has been provided. Mass disturbances and serious accidents were not admitted.
Operative staffs of the RT Department of Federal Penal Service with the help of territorial District Department of Internal Affairs and Department of Federal Drug Control Service have detected 622 crimes.
Ildar Khalikov stressed that main factor showing efficiency of work of the RT Department of Federal Penal Service is absence of mass disturbances and emergency situations in places of imprisonment. He said that the RT Department of Federal Penal Service faced a number of tasks, including isolation of prisoners and persons under investigation and ensuring lawfulness in correctional institutions.
According to Tatarstan’s PM, Tatarstan leadership has always paid special attention to problems of correctional system. Major efforts have been taken on improving maintenance conditions for prisoners and life quality of employees at such institutions.
“Operative services should take measures on preventing activity of persons promoting ideas of radical Islam and extremist literature in places of imprisonment, organize interaction with law enforcement bodies and Muslim Spiritual Board,” Ildar Khalikov underlined.
Another task is improvement of living conditions for prisoners and medical support.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
