Mintimer Shaimiev: “Order must be established at all objects in Bolgar”

A meeting dedicated to organization of works at objects of the ancient town of Bolgar in 2013 was held at the Kazan Kremlin. The meeting was held by Tatarstan’s State Counselor, Chairman of the Board of guardians of the Republican Foundation for historical and cultural monuments Mintimer Shaimiev.
Tatarstan’s State Counselor said that due to holding of Universiade in Kazan, International archeological forum and traditional event “Izge Bolgar Zhyeny” in Bolgar, preparation for commissioning of certain objects would be more difficult than in Sviyazhsk because of fixed dates.
Mintimer Shaimiev supposes that the plan of visits to Bolgar and Sviyazhsk should be taken into account.
It was noted that the International archeological forum would take place in Bolgar on May 18, on the International museum day. Russian Ministers of culture, leading Russian and foreign archeologists will take part in the event. Thus, works on preparing main objects should be fulfilled before this date. Besides, an archeological scientific base is to be opened on May 18.
Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin informed that Coordination Council of the Russian Ministry of culture and RT Ministry of culture were involved in organization of the forum.
Aide to the RT President, CEO of the Republican Foundation “Renaissance” Tatyana Larionova told about restoration and construction works, degree of objects’ readiness to be commissioned this year.
In connection with announcement of 2013 the Year of environmental protection in Russia and the Year of environmental protection and ecological culture in republic, Mintimer Shaimiev suggested developing proposals on holding joint events in Bolgar and the island town of Sviyazhsk.
Head of State Counselor’s Secretariat Evgeny Grishin, Head of Spassky municipal region Kamil Nugaev, CEO of State Housing Fund under the RT President Talgat Abdullin, Director General of GUP “Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt” Adel Khusnutdinov, Director of Bolgar museum reserve Rafael Makhmutov participated in the meeting.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
