President of Tatarstan participates in All-Russia meeting of the Ministry of emergency situations

All-Russia meeting of management team of the Ministry of emergency situations and civil defence forces chaired by Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev was held in Krasnogorsk. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the event.
Results of work of the unified state system of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fulfillment of civil defence measures in 2012 were summarized and tasks for 2013 were set.
Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev presented state awards and honourable titles to employees of the ministry. Four employees received medals “For courage”, for rescue of people who were dying and Suvorov medal. Honorary titles “Honoured rescuer of RF” were given to other two employees.
Head of the Government also viewed the exhibition of new equipment and gear for rescuers.
Russian PM said that a complex warning system and a single emergency number 112 would start operating in 2014.
The mission of the complex warning system is to provide vital information to people being in a risk zone. Via a single emergency number 112 people will receive complex help.
Speaking about providing equipment to rescuers, Mr. Medvedev emphasized that it should be state-of-the-art. He informed that the ministry would receive 8 bln rubles for these purposes in 2013. A part of these funds will be spent for creation of airmobile groups of rescuers reacting to major emergency situations.
In general, the PM highly estimated work of employees of the Ministry of emergency situations noting that they rescued 200 thousand and helped 2 mln people in 2012.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
