President of Tatarstan meets with President of Russian ski race Federation

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with three-time Olympic champion, President of Russian ski race Federation Elena Vyalbe and Honoured master of sports of the USSR, two-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Vedenin.
President of republican ski race Federation Ilshat Fardiev, Deputy Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Khalil Shaikhutdinov participated in the meeting at the RT Government House.
Participants of the event discussed development of ski sport in Russia and Tatarstan. Elena Vyalbe noted Tatarstan contribution to training of skiers for the national team and expressed hope for participation of Tatarstan sportsmen in Sochi Olympic Games.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
