Rustam Minnikhanov meets with players of “Ak Bars” hockey club

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with players of “Ak Bars” hockey club. The meeting was held at the hockey club base in Kazan with participation of President of “Ak Bars” hockey club Shafagat Takhautdinov and chief coach Valery Belov.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that meetings with hockey players before play-off series for the Gagarin Cup had become traditional. “Ak Bars” club is not just a favourite team for us. It is a symbol of the Republic of Tatarstan. Your success is my success,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that hockey is becoming more popular in republic. 38 indoor ice skating rinks are functioning in Tatarstan. Players of “Ak Bars” club have become sport idols for the youth and all Tatarstan citizens.
Rustam Minnikhanov wished hockey players good luck. President of “Ak Bars” hockey club Shafagat Takhautdinov also wished sportsmen patience and good luck in play-off games.

On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.

On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.

On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
