Rustam Minnikhanov: “Every small oil company is a major taxpayer”

On March 4 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of small oil companies in Zainsk. Results of activity in 2012 and tasks for 2013 were considered at the meeting.
Director General of OAO “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov, heads of relevant ministries and agencies, territorial branches of federal bodies participated in the event.
Before the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov had visited “Tatech” company. He saw gas turbine power station running on Associated Petroleum Gas (APG) in operation.
To the point, the requirement for recovery of 95 per cent of APG was introduced on January 1, 2012 in Russia.
Speaking about current situation in oil industry, Rustam Minnikhanov positively estimated the policy of tax remissions for hard-to-recover oil.
Head of republic believes that fuel and energy sector enjoys leading role in the country. He said that each small oil company is a major taxpayer.
Tatarstan small oil companies produced 6,7 mln tons of oil last year (20,5 per cent of total oil production in republic).
Head of the Department for subsoil management Ravil Mutygullin told about results of work in the sphere of geology and subsoil management. He focused on tasks set by the Russian Government. He mentioned as well that an important event, All-Russia competitions of young geologists would be held in Tatarstan this year.
Summing up, Rustam Minnikhanov said that republican authorities would continue doing their best to support the industry.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
