Marat Akhmetov: “Though 2012 was a difficult year, we increased proceeds by 110 per cent”

At a republican meeting Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff Marat Akhmetov informed that the ministry received final annual reports from agricultural enterprises by results of work in 2012.
According to the reports, the cost of gross output made 77,5 bln rubles, proceeds – 60 bln rubles.
According to Marat Akhmetov, the cost of gross output by all types of agricultural enterprises accounted for 147,5 bln rubles.
Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff continued that such rates of growth were possible due to concentration of producers in Tukay region.
Commenting on Marat Akhmetov’s speech, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is not just producers’ achievements, but major efforts of municipal authorities.
Marat Akhmetov noted that Zainsk, Saby, Sarmanovo, Baltasi, and Buinsk regions also showed good growth rates.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatutllin informed that in the current year the Ministry will take part in implementation of five national projects and three state programmes with planned construction and capital overhaul of 172 facilities for the total sum of 17bn rubles.
On 10 January, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipality regions taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that it is expected to achieve a comparable growth of produce of 1.5%, including that in food production - at least 2.6% in the agricultural sector.
On 4 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situation and ensuring fire safety of the republic, has taken a decision to put into operation the “Buran” (Snow storm) plan in Tatarstan starting from 2 pm on 4 January until the consequences of adverse meteorological events are eliminated by ministries, departments and organizations which ensure the smooth movement of road and rail transport in winter.
On 3 January on the errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, who is the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission of prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety of the republic , held an urgent meeting of the Commission which discussed readiness of forces and means to ensure security during the New Year and Christmas holidays.
