Rashid Syunyaev awarded with Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov presented the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan to academician of the Russian Academy of sciences and honoured academician of Tatarstan Academy of sciences Rashid Syunyaev.
The event took place in a ceremonial hall of the Presidential Residence at the Kazan Kremlin. Rashid Syunyaev celebrated 70th anniversary on March 1, 2013. Several fundamental studies in modern theoretical astrophysics and cosmology are connected with his name.
Rashid Syunyaev’s family, employees of Kazan research centre of the Russian Academy of sciences, Tatarstan Academy of sciences attended the ceremony.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that it is an important event for Tatarstan science and people.
Rustam Minnikhanov continued: “Rashid Syunyaev is an internationally recognised scientist has maintained contacts with his native land, his pupils. He makes a considerable contribution to development of Tatar identity and traditions.”
In accordance with Tatarstan President’s Edict, the Order of Merit for the Republic of Tatarstan was presented to Rashid Syunyaev for considerable contribution to development of modern astrophysics.
President of Tatarstan Academy of sciences Akhmet Mazgarov said that Rashid Syunyaev is an outstanding astrophysicist. He continued that owing to academician Syunyaev Kazan astrophysics school is a leading one as well as Moscow and St.Petersburg schools.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic.
