Rustam Minnikhanov: Kazanorgsintez should keep running at full capacity

At annual shareholders’ meeting of OAO “Kazanorgsintez” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the company’s priority task is provision of high-quality raw materials to use production capacities at full.
Director General of OAO “Kazanorgsintez” Farid Minigulov presented report on results of company’s activity in 2012. In particular, he said that good financial results were obtained. Net profit made 3,28 bln rubles, proceeds increased by 22 per cent, physical overall production increased by 16 per cent. Average salary accounted for 31,5 thousand rubles.
Shareholders approved annual and accounting reports. New Board membership comprised of 11 people was elected. First session of new Board of directors was held after shareholders’ meeting. By the decision of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov TAIF Director General Albert Shigabutdinov was elected as the Board Chairman.
Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov said that OAO “Kazanorgsintez” is one of leading enterprises in Tatarstan and Russia. He supposes that presence of such a powerful producer of polymers in republic provides conditions for development of small and medium-size business.
The President continued that the company’s priority task is provision of high-quality raw materials. He thanked employees of OAO “Kazanorgsintez” for efficient work and wished further success.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “

There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
