OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Board considers results of work of first quarter and some innovative projects

A session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” Board was held at Tatarstan Government House. The session was chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin told about results of work of oil-gas-chemical complex in first quarter of 2013. 8 mln tons of oil have been produced and 4 mln tons have been refined for three months.
In general, output growth in oil-gas-chemical complex was higher than Russian and Tatarstan industrial production index.
Most major projects (i.e.ethylene complex, “Ammoni”, two advanced oil refining complexes, “Kazansky silicon”) will be launched in 2015-2017.
Directro of the Institute of surface chemistry and interfaces (France) Dmitry Ivanov told about opportunities connected with use of new technologies in three main areas.
In particular, he focused on production of new device – nanocalorimeter for making high-quality thermoanalytical measuring of nanomaterials, systems for controlled deliveries of medicines on the basis of biocompatible coatings, and hydrophilic glass coatings.
Two innovative platforms were presented at the session – amine treatment technologies for oil refineries, and carbon fibres to be used in construction sphere, infrastructure, and oil-gas-chemical complex.
On March 10, the third meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of the 20th anniversary Russian Venture Forum 2026 to be held in Kazan from April 8 to 10, chaired by Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov and with participation of Tatarstan Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and co-chair of the forum’s organizing committee Aleksey Pesoshin, President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov, Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of Tatarstan Damir Galiev as well as representatives of federal and regional authorities, development institutions and partner organizations via videoconference, took place.
On 10 March, speaking at a briefing dedicated to the development of the national Max messenger in Tatarstan and held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communication of the republic Ilya Nachvin informed that according to the data of March 2026 about 1.5m residents of Tatarstan use domestic Max messenger.
On 5 February Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in ceremony of awarding winners of the regional competition “The Woman of the Year. The Man of the Year: A Woman’s View” held at the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan.
On 4 March at a briefing in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Minister of Land and Property Relation Fanil Agliullin told about changes in land legislation enforced from 1 March of the current year. He said that they simplify a number of procedures for land plot owners including expanding the possibilities for land use and changing the rules for changing the category of a plot.
