Sergei Stepashin: Tatarstan leadership quickly response to remarks of Russian Accounts Chamber

Having visited several Universiade objects and met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on May 6, Chairman of Russian Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin said that there would not be any serious remarks regarding expenditure of budgetary funds allocated for preparation and holding of Universiade.
Sergei Stepashin reminded that Russian and Tatarstan Accounts Chambers constantly control the process of preparation for Universiade.

Sergei Stepashin said that results of inspection of expenditure of budgetary funds will be summarized in September. He also told that on March 19 Russian President signed the decree about using the project of “Kazan-Arena” stadium as typical one during preparation for World Football Cup 2018.
Later on the same day Sergei Stepashin also visited the island town of Sviyazhsk.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that republican leadership had obtained positive experience in the process of interaction with Russian Accounts Chamber. The practice of efficient expenditure of budgetary funds is being used upon implementation of other republican programmes such as construction of village clubs, sport complexes, schools, and kindergartens.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
