Agro-industrial park started working in Kazan on May 11. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin were first visitors to a unique complex.
The Agro-industrial park is a technology complex aimed at development of small and medium-size entrepreneurship in agricultural sector. It occupies the area of 8,5 hectares. 257 residents, among which are agricultural producers and consumer cooperatives currently sell their produce on its territory.
Tatarstan President looked around shopping stalls, trade departments, veterinary laboratory, café for visitors, spoke to customers and sellers.
Rustam Minnikhanov addressed Ilsur Metshin with a request to think over the issue of transport accessibility for city dwellers.
Marat Akhmetov informed that the cost of construction and facilities had made 2,4 bln rubles allocated from federal and republican budgets. Allocation of extra federal funds for purchasing technology equipment is now under consideration.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
