Rustam Minnikhanov: “I want “Dinamo-Kazan” to continue being the best team in Russia”

On May 14 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with volleyball team “Dinamo-Kazan” which won Russian Championship for the third time.
Rustam Minnikhanov said that the victory was the result of major efforts of players, coaches and sponsors.
According to Rustam Minnikhanov, due to achievements of professional volleyball clubs this sport is becoming more and more popular in republic.
Rustam Minnikhanov presented Letter of Gratitude of Tatarstan President to the team. The title “Honoured worker of physical culture and sport of the Republic of Tatarstan” was given to chief coach Rishat Gilyazutdinov, team captain Maria Borodakova and leading player Ekaterina Gamova.
Chief coach of the team Rishat Gilyazutdinov said that it had become a good tradition to visit Kremlin on such occasions. He thanked management of the club and sponsors.
Rishat Gilyazutdinov and Maria Borodakova presented the golden medal of Russian Championship 2012-2013, champions’ photo and the golden volleyball to Rustam Minnikhanov.
Tatarstan President informed about allocation of 5 mln rubles for upgrading facilities of the club “Dinamo-Kazan”.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
