On February 29, during his working visit to Tokyo, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a series of business meetings. Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Japan with the Russian delegation headed by the Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov to take part in the business mission “Trade-industrial dialogue: Russia-Japan”.
On February 29, at a session “Russia-Japan cooperation in the sphere of modernization of infrastructure” during the business mission “Trade-industrial dialogue: Russia-Japan” in Tokyo, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in expanding cooperation with Japanese partners.
On February 29, at his meeting with Board chairman of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Hideaki Omiya and Vice-president of Sojitz Corporation Takashi Hara, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan has actively cooperated with both companies since 2007 when the agreement on the beginning of design and construction of Ammoni complex was signed.
On February 29, during his working trip to Japan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met special advisor to Prime Minister of Japan Eiichi Hasegawa. The meeting was held at a business breakfast with the participation of Director General of Tatneft PJSC Nail Maganov and Board Chairman of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Vladimir Busygin.
