On February 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will be on a working trip in Naberezhnye Chelny. He will visit the plant producing automotive components for trucks OOO NPO “Rostar”, engineering center of Kazan Federal University, and one of the repaired hostels.

On February 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin, Board Chairman of OAO “Ammoni” Rinat Khanbikov and other officials arrived in the Mendeleevsk region to take part in a solemn launching of the Complex producing ammonia, granulated carbamide and methanol "Ammoni".

On February 23, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaikhraziev, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the republic Elmira Zaripova, veterans of combat operations, students, members of public organizations “Students league of the Republic of Tatarstan” and “Young Guard” took part in a solemn meeting on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day.

On February 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov congratulated Tatarstan citizens on the Defender of the Fatherland Day.

"Dear Tatarstan citizens! On behalf of Tatarstan Government and myself I cordially congratulate you on the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Throughout a centuries-long history of our country a warrior, defender has always enjoyed great respect, has been surrounded by care and attention of compatriots. Common roots and destinies, common concerns and interests have always been and remain the most reliable ties uniting the people and the army together.

On February 20, after his meeting with activists of Tatarstan branch of the Young Guard of the United Russia party in Innopolis, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov told reporters that the branch makes young people actively participate in the life of the republic.

On February 20, speaking at a traditional regional meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin reported that 389,900 square meters of housing, which makes 12 per cent compared with the same period of the previous year, have been commissioned in Tatarstan since the beginning of the year. 

On February 19, at the Hermitage-Kazan Center Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Revival Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev, Director of State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Iraq to Russia Shafiq Muhsin Ismail, Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Russia, Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin, Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of the republic Kamil Samigullin, Minister of Culture of the republic Aiat Sibagatullin and other officials took part in the opening of a unique exhibition "Ibn Fadlan’s journey: Volga route from Baghdad to Bulgar”.

On February 19, at the base of the Kazan team Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting wth players of the Ak Bars Hockey Club with participation of Ak Bars President Shafagat Takhautdinov, Director General of Tatneft Nail Maganov, head coach Zinetula Bilyaletdinov, and others.

Minnikhanov noted that last year was difficult for the republic and Ak Bars Hockey club, but despite this the challenge to qualify for the playoffs has been completed and next week the team will play its first game. 

On February 19, at the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of Board of Trustees of the Revival Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev had a meeting with Director of the State Hermitage Museum Mikhail Piotrovsky, who arrived in Kazan to take part in the opening of the exhibition “Ibn Fadlan’s journey: Volga route from Baghdad to Bolgar” at the Hermitage-Kazan Center. 

On February 19, speaking at an All-Russian meeting on the development and use of cost-effective projects and improving the pricing system in the construction industry held by Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the pricing issues are important in all sectors of the economy, and they are not only about fair mutual payments, but investment opportunities as well.
