Tatarstan signs communiqué with Turkish provinces Eskişehir and Bursa

On June 1 at his meeting with Governor of Eskişehir province Güngör Azim Tuna and Governor of Bursa province Şahabettin Harput at Anemon hotel (Eskişehir, Turkey) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov signed communiqué on further development of relationships between Tatarstan and Eskişehir and Bursa provinces.
Turkish Minister of National Education Nabi Avci, Ambassador of Russia to Turkish Republic Vladimir Ivanovsky, Aide to Tatarstan President on international issues Airat Sibagatullin, Board Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ruslan Kabirov were present at the meeting.
Güngör Azim Tuna welcomed Rustam Minnikhanov and said that joint prospective projects and arrangements would promote development of mutually beneficial relationships between Tatarstan and Turkey.
“Turkey is the main partner of Tatarstan in trade-economic, cultural, scientific, educational and humanitarian spheres. Is speaks about high level of partnership relations between us,” Rustam Minnikhanov said, in his turn.
To the point, the international organisation TURKSOI announced Eskişehir city the cultural capital of Turkic world in 2013, Kazan – in 2014. The Tatar national holiday Sabantui will be held today in Eskişehir.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
