Rustam Minnikhanov: “Tatarstan and Turkey confirm their good brotherly relations”

On June 1 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in celebration of Tatar national holiday Sabantui in Eskişehir (Turkey).
“I am very glad that our compatriots living in Turkey maintain close relations with their historical motherland – Tatarstan, communicate with each other, and preserve national traditions and culture,” Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
Tatarstan President sincerely thanked those people who took part in the opening of Tatar cultural center in Eskişehir.
“We appreciate that due to this project anyone can learn about Tatarstan cultural and art achievements, rich history of Tatar nation and our cultural heritage,” Rustam Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President told journalists of TRT “AVAZ” Turkish TV channel that two cities had again confirmed brotherly relations.
State Folk Music Ensemble and State Song and Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Tatarstan performed at the concert, which took place after the official part of the event.
On 2 March in her address on the occasion of the Mentor’s Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: “Since 2025 this holiday established by Russian President Vladimir Putin has occupied a worthy place in the calendar of significant dates of our country, emphasizing the high status and significance of the mentoring mission.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Director of the Fund “The Institute of Development of Tatarstan Cities” Nailya Nagumanova informed about preparation to the implementation of the Our Yard programme in the republic.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported the statistics on collection of utility payments and payment discipline.
On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference , the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that 170 educational facilities will have capital overhaul by federal and regional programmes, having added that the bulk of the projects are planned to begin at the start of the summer holidays.
