On 19 February, speaking at a videoconference held by  Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov  with all municipalities of the republic with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin , the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin said that 769 multi -apartment houses with the total area of 4m 700 thousand square meters will be covered by the capital overhaul program in the republic with the tentative cost of 6bn 441m roubles.

He said 26 out of 31 programs of construction and capital overhaul and modernization of housing and utility sector have been approved by decrees of the regional Cabinet of Ministers and the draft decrees of three more programs were submitted to the Cabinet.

Reporting about review of utility bills after numerous complaints from the residents, Ayzatullin said the analysis did not reveal any mistakes with the heating charges. “The heating charges were higher due to the increased amount of used heat energy as these data are fixed by communal meters”, - he said.

According to Ayzatullin, the analysis of the temperature regime and the heat consumption amount showed that in January the consumption increased by 27 per cent in Kazan and 30 per cent in Naberezhnyyde Chelny compared to the same period last year.

“All future complaints will be closely monitored by the State Housing Inspection”, - Marat Ayzatullin said.
