Development of railway infrastructure of Kama industrial cluster discussed in Nizhnekamsk

On June 10 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting concerning development of railway infrastructure in Kama industrial cluster. The meeting took place at OAO “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” (Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan) with participation of Head of Kuibyshev railways Sergei Solozhenkin.
Implementation of the project on increasing railway capacity in Kama innovation production cluster, further joint activity and interaction of people involved in the project realization, prospects of industrial enterprises of Kama innovation production cluster and SEZ “Alabuga” were discussed at the meeting.
Kama innovation production cluster includes 5 regions, and major Nizhnekamsk enterprises. In 2012 it was included in the list of priority innovative territorial clusters approved by Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
Oil and gas refining, petrochemistry and automotive industry are main industries in the cluster. There is a powerful innovative potential which makes the territory the growing point of Tatarstan Republic and the whole Russia.
On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.
On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “
Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.
On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
