Construction and installation work and overhaul of facilities under regional programmes start in Tatarstan

On March 19, speaking at a videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported on the implementation of regional programmes for the capital repair of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings. He said that it is planned to implement 44 programmes, including 31 approved by the orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan. To date, 29 regional construction programmes have been approved, and contracts have been concluded for 12 of them.

Construction and installation works have been started at the facilities under the capital repair programme of recreational camps in Zelenodolsk and Atninsk municipal regions, as well as in the city of Kazan. The overhaul and strengthening of the buildings of psychological and pedagogical assistance centres, youth centres under «Environmental protection measures» started. Major repairs are also being carried out at social service organizations, health facilities and youth clubs.

Speaking about the implementation of capital repair programme of multi-apartment houses, he said it is planned to overhaul 760 facilities with a total area of 4 million 755 thousand square meters with the total funding amounting to 6 bln 431 million roubles. To date, contracts have been concluded for 85 multi-apartment buildings.

Ayzatullin said that March 20 is the professional holiday of housing and utility services workers, and congratulated workers of this area.
