Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food: Farmers are actively preparing to the sowing campaign

Speaking at the videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the regional First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Nail Zalakov reported about preparation to spring field work.
He said that the farmers have been provided with grain and pulse plants seeds by 115% and corn, sunflower and sugar beet seeds keep coming to the republic.
In addition 152 thousand tonnes of fertilizers have been prepared and the Ministry is monitoring the readiness of the farming machinery.
Zalakov reminded that the farmers can use various kinds of financial support from the budget including soft credits and subsidies.

On 19 November at a briefing held in the Government House of Tatarstan representatives of Kazan Federal University informed journalists about celebrations of the 220th birthday of University, which was on 17 November when the staff got congratulatory letters from Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Rais of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, and promising spheres of the university development.

On November 23–24, Innopolis University will host the IT festival for schoolchildren and students “Formula of the Future” with master classes and panel discussions on careers in startups, big tech and science, educational lectures on the exact sciences, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, optical phenomena and space, and a job fair. The event will also include “Physics and Mathematics Breakthrough” – the first in a series of festivals of the regional project of the same name for schoolchildren of 7-11 grades with lectures, interactive stations and math puzzles.
